It’s been an exciting journey so far for Soar. Our team is continuing to grow all the time, we are working with the UK’s largest credit union and we have just announced our incredible grant from Scottish Enterprise.
The continuous development of our product is key for us to help the ethical banking sector and the £450,000 granted to us will go a long way in funding our product development. Our announcement was made even better with a visit from Minister for Public Finance and Digital Economy Kate Forbes MSP. TheMinister visited our offices in Glasgow where she spoke to our team and got to see first-hand the technology that we have produced and what we are continuing to work on.
We were also joined by some of our credit union customers.Pioneer Mutual Credit Union and Baillieston Credit Union came along and got the chance to speak with the Minister about how embracing technology is helping them to reach more members and work smarter. It was also a great opportunity for them to talk about the sector and share their thoughts for the future.
The support we have received has been a great achievement for the entire Soar team and it’s inspiring for both us and our credit union customers. We are grateful to the Minister for taking the time to come and see what we are working on here in Glasgow and to Scottish Enterprise for their amazing support.
