Just weeks after our CEO pitched in the Edge14 Grand Finals, we were invited to attend the awards dinner to find out if we’d won a share of the Scottish Edge Fund. Scottish Edge gave out a total of £1.2 million to early-stage Scottish businesses at last night’s ceremony to help grow the vision that each company pitched to the judges in the finals.
Our Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer attended the awards dinner last night which was held at the RBS Conference Centre inEdinburgh and we were absolutely overwhelmed to be awarded £75,000 from the Fund.
We were amongst 14 other early-stage companies that received a share out of the 37 Scottish businesses that pitched last month, and we’re thrilled that the pitch made by our CEO, Andrew, led to the judges awarding us a share of the funding. It’s a huge achievement for our team and we are proud to have won alongside some of the most innovative early-stage businesses that Scotland has to offer. A huge congratulations to the other winners and thank you to the Scottish Edge judges for believing in Soar. We can’t wait to show everyone what we’re doing next.
